Vergo is Latin and means to incline, to tilt.

It is an experimental attempt to analyse how haptic feedback can be used for navigation. Four servo motors move a weight inside the device and cause a shifting of balance.

Controlled by an Arduino and several sensors it is able to direct the user in different directions. Despite the heavy weight shift, we found out that acoustic feedback helps the user to find the balance point.

My teammates Anja and Carsten took care about the concept and its features while I concentrated on building and programming the final prototype.
